Lord Increase Our Faith

Jesus is talking to the disciples concerning four seemingly different topics. First he talks about offenses. Second, is the matter of forgiveness.  Third he answers the disciple’s question concerning increasing their faith.  Fourth, the Lord impresses upon the disciples to learn what servanthood is all about. Rather than dividing the passage into these four sections, it appears there is a more basic issue at hand. It is the matter of relationships. Each of these factors deal with our relationship with others. Seeming something the disciples had not learned, but is essential to their salvation.
